Those people still have more opportunity than 99% of the world. American's, especially those that have not left the US, have no idea how good we have it here. No other country in the world has poor fat people. Not one.

Poor fat people, just think about that .
Half the world is worrying about their next meal, and clean drinking water, here they cry about not having everything everyone else has, because it's just not fair.

The government is in a tough situation. They know for a fact they should push a healthy lifestyle. On the other hand the fat acceptance movement covers a lot of their voting base. Can't p*** off the bigguns or they'll get called straight sized haters during their campaign stops.

I quick google search for starving US children brought me to the upstanding website...Feeding America dot org. They have an obese girl on their landing page...I guess their mission is accomplished. Also, their site states this BS calling us racists.

"The number of children facing hunger in the United States rose during the pandemic - from more than 10 million children in 2019 to nearly 12 million children in 2020. Black and Latino children are more than twice as likely to face hunger as white children because of systemic racial injustice"

Not true. I used to drive a school bus and my wife is a school teacher. We both knew several kids that only ate when they came to school. Typically, their parents were either dead beats or druggies. The schools will typically send a bag home with these kids with simple foods that don’t require any prep, so at least they can eat over the weekend.

A BIG part of this is caused because of single parents. As long as the government subsidizes single parents and discourages a husband and wife in a household, this problem will continue.
