Got fired for refusing vaccine?

I work for one of the largest oil companies. Not a peep about the jab so far, no emails no nothing. They did pretty much do away with the facial hair policy for some reason, I heard something about a moral booster I thought that was a little strange. Supervisors have had man power meetings and supposedly we have already lost 600 out of the mechanical division this year due to people going to other companies. I’m thinking they are scared to death what will happen if they try and force the jab.

Well good for your group. This will eventually flip imo on the companies realizing the potential is there to effect their bottom line with these crazy mandates etc.

Or they make your life miserable. You can try the religious exemption, but you better bet they're going to follow up that you're practicing this religion regularly. AND you have to get test twice a week and wear an N95 vs a regular surgical mask.

This is ridiculous. The vaccine isn’t a vaccine. It doesn’t make you immune. There is not a way for them to prove it lessens the symptoms because everyone reacts differently to the virus (much like the flu). If you can still get it and still spread it, WHY are people and companies doing this?

Yes they can prove that the vulnerable are less likely to die if they are vaccinated. But yes you can still get it, you just won't get very sick, for the most part, some still do, but the vast majority that have been vaccinated will not die if they get Covid. Pretty hard to dispute that.

Ive seen way to many people die from it. And a ton get it that were vaccinated, and they didn't get very sick at all. I've probably had it, I just don't run to the doctor every time I have a headache or the sniffles, sore throat etc.

I am not arguing because this has been smashed on for months.

Your very first paragraph states “the vast majority that have been vaccinated will not die”. That is exactly what is proven for people who are not vaccinated. The vast majority has already had the first phase or now the delta phase.

I thought I read a month back or so that 170,000,000 have had COVID. The current death rate from supposedly Covid does not match up with the vast majority. Also, we have treatments now and supposedly a pill that is about to launch.

What is the freaking push and need for a shot not a vaccine?

So far only Southwest Airlines employees seem to have taken any actual action against the company for mandating employees to take the shots. Hopefully deadlines, completion dates, productivity in ALL other companies that are mandating this stupidity will start feeling the effects of their poor decisions.

AA says no full jab by November 28, no job. They claim you can apply for a med or religious exemption. I don't have much faith in that though.

Maybe. I'm trying to determine how many deadlines have passed without them actually firing people...Or if they actually fired people. Not interested in "my sisters best friends dog sitter said on facebook that her friend was fired.. LOL

I seriously hope people (vaxed and non-vaxed) call these companies bluff. If not we are all in for a world of hurt. That could then BS whatever they want from whoever they want. You hunt? Thats dangerous so you pay extra on healthcare.

They've given up trying to argue why we need to be vaccinated. They know they have nothing of substance to offer. They're now down to just trying to force it.

I'm not anti-vaccine. Everyone should be able to make their own decisions about their healthcare.

Some info for those that may not know:

1- All the available "vaccines" in administered in the US are still those under emergency use only (the FDA approved Pfizer shot is still not available in the US) Under the EU agreement the drug companies cannot be held liable.....

2- More than 48,000 Medicaid and Medicare patients have died with 14 days of receiving the Pfizer and Moderna MRNA shots (includes the first and 2nd shots). this is not data from the VAERS database, it's from the CMS database for Medicaid and Medicare.

3- There is not an official mandate for a Covid vaccine. Biden announced that OSHA would publish the rules for companies with 100+, but to date OSHA has not put out a policy. The companies are implementing their own mandates.

4- "Breakthrough" infection rates for those 5-6 months post vaccine are twice as high as those 3-4 months post vaccine.

Clean shaven. No mustache past the corners of the mouth. It was centered around wearing full face breathing air. Now we can grow beards or goatees whatever you want. Most people never put on breathing air I haven’t worn it in my 22 years that I’ve worked here. Only people who regularly wear it or first responders must still follow the policy.
