Come to think of it, all the years watching Phil do his thing, i beleive he would be much more interested in what this thread turned into, rather than its original intent.

On that note, his In the Woods with Phil podcast is good stuff. Especially concerning questions of biblical truth and faith.

I encourage anyone including Danno to take the John 7:17 challenge and give it a test run. What possible harm can come from loving God, y’all’s neighbors, being self sufficient, content, and having a way out of this place by passing from death to life.

Sometimes we seek too many answers. Times change, perceptions change, and even Biblical reading can include reading something a hundred times and one day…Bingo, it speaks. Almost like its the Living Word or something.

Boom! There ya go. Danno, there have been countless folks not only here,but the US, the world that have not realized what was promised. Read Hebrews 13-40. Although they didn’t receive all things promised, it doesn’t mean these folks didn’t grow in the process, mature in Christ before they graduated.
If heartache or hypocrisy has driven a wedge between you and God simply remember that we’re all broken vessels. We’re all works in progress. Some still drinking milk while others are tearing into the meat of the Word.
When our son was two years old he was injured in a stove fire. This led to 16 years of epilepsy, successful brain surgery, and then a plunge into the world of psychosis because of the surgery.
We’re we devastated yes. Was I angry? Yes DidI curse God? No. We/just held on to God. He’s all we have here. I learned to take this world and it’s problems a day at a time and my life got easier. Do I still stumble and fall? Yes. I’m human. Finally remember, that you are a single heartbeat away from eternity. Choose life my friend.
