          Sorry, I've been at work and cant access internet at my desk so been out of the conversation for a bit. I'm on a break for a few minutes so I have a quick response before I get back to work.
          Danno, intrigued is a start. I'll take it.
          Like God, I don't wish to see anyone suffer the wrath of hell and I do believe it's real and I do believe some will enter for eternity. I also believe it's a choice we make before our earthly life ends. I hope you'll truly consider your choice carefully. If your wrong about your unbelief in God you will pay dearly with a price you can't imagine (none of us can). If you choose to believe in God and live a life under his grace, what have you lost if you're wrong about it. There is no penalty for it.
          I wish you the very best and hope I can at least stir the conversation in you. I only want to plant seeds. God waters and provides the sunlight.

            This stance has been stated numerous times...for clarity, this is not a teaching from the Bible.

            (just in case anyone was taking it as truth)

            9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

              So, you say. You are on the side that billions and billions of people are condemned to eternal hell and I am on the side that all people will have everlasting life with my loving GOD. Good night.

                No sir.

                I edited the post with Scripture because I did not want to come off as an opinion.

                I am on the side of Jesus where HE tells us all that we are born condemned (John 3:17) due to our sinful natures.

                It speaks much more to holiness of God and the debilitating effects of sin that it does about just you or me.

                On edit my post stands, your teaching does not stand up to biblical scrutiny.

                Have a good night.

                  SH, can you explain this away. This is from Jesus’s on mouth in Matthew 25 right after He explains to his apostles about the coming of the end of the age (the church age which we are in at this time). He is clearly talking about hell and fire that is eternal.

                  Mat 25:31 "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.
                  Mat 25:32 "All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;
                  Mat 25:33 and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
                  Mat 25:34 "Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
                  Mat 25:35 'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;
                  Mat 25:36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'
                  Mat 25:37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?
                  Mat 25:38 'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?
                  Mat 25:39 'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'
                  Mat 25:40 "The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'
                  Mat 25:41 "Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;
                  Mat 25:42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink;
                  Mat 25:43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.'
                  Mat 25:44 "Then they themselves also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?'
                  Mat 25:45 "Then He will answer them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
                  Mat 25:46 "These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

                      okay, SS, I will say here that I am not as well versed in the Bible as a lot of people here on TBH are, including you. Saying that, I do have some questions regarding Matthew 25. First, it seems to say that we have to do something (invite in. feed, give drink, clothe, heal, or visit) to be considered a sheep. I believe, and others do, that it is through Grace (GOD's gift) and believing in Jesus as savior, we have everlasting life with GOD. Nowhere in 25 do I see accepting Jesus as a necessary thing to have Everlasting life with GOD. So, what is it, GOD's Grace or works that get us into Everlasting life, can't be both?

                        It's the act of love which shows our acceptance of God and his sacrifice (Jesus). We get to heaven through Grace and Grace alone but we must accept it. Jesus knew who accepted it by the acts of love they performed.

                          Jesus is Gods Grace.

                            Brother you have to guard your heart and mind as to what you allow to enter into it. None of what you believe, regarding the unsaved hanging around until their heart is changed is Biblical. None of it. Christianity is exclusive. That’s the problem the world has with it. Opra claims “there’s more than one way to God”. Leading people to hail in a handbag. When people give you scripture, and that scripture is not taken out of context you believe it or you don’t. Gods word say that anybody, did you get that? Anybody that “adds to or takes away from this Word is accursed”. Full stop.
                            Again, God doesn’t condem anyone to hell. It’s a personal choice. He gives you on the other side what you chose on this side if you die without accepting Christ propitiation for your sin. You can deny it , you can spin it, but it’s there in black and white. I’ve read my Bible through at least 15 times since being born again and His word has never changed. “Heaven and earth will pass away,but My words shall not pass away”.

                              Works has nothing to do with attaining your salvation. That is a gift from God, (grace), available to all people who admit they are sinners, sincerely ask for HIS forgiveness, believe that JESUS as a perfect sacrifice, died for our sins, was buried and rose again. His grace makes us perfect in His sight because Jesus's blood covered our sin. It does NOT make this earthly body perfect because of the sin nature we were born with. This is the hard part for a non-believer to grasp. Salvation doesn't prevent this body from sinning. However we should not have a desire to sin. We should live every day to serve others and bring honor to GOD. The things mentioned in Matt. 25.

                              Out of our love for what CHRIST did for us we choose to follow Him and His teachings. This is the part where how we live and what we do for others should be evident to everyone, that we aren't the same. It is a growth process and the more and closer we walk with GOD, the more we come to act like Jesus. We show His love to the lost world.

                              LOVE GOD--LOVE PEOPLE
