Why Are You Here?
I have a question for the dissenters of the PACE forum. If it bothers you so much, why even go in there?
If you are here for the hunting/bowhunting and don’t care to look at the PACE forum there are several sub forums dedicated to those items. No one is forcing you to go into a forum you don’t want to see.
When a site grows as much as TBH has, you are going to have people that have different interests. I loved TBH when it was much smaller, but when Michael had to switch platforms to a more modern, familiar one its only natural that membership would explode and not everyone is going to agree on everything.
IMO if the Pace is shut down then the political posts will go back to the campfire. If Michael bans PACE and then everyone that posts a political thread in the campfire is then banned then membership will definitely shrink. Whether or not that’s good for the site remains to be seen and is ultimately Michael’s decision. I will say that a few members are just plain ****ty to other members that have differing views and that is likely what will influence his decision. You can disagree with someone and not be a jerk, even to the agitators that post from time to time.
I wonder if the platform has a way to select which forums individuals do/don’t want to see? For those that just hate the PACE forum they could just “turn it off” and not even see it.
