When the FBI shot and killed Robert LaVoy Finicum in Oregon, many on the left applauded the Federal governments intervention and now those same people are crying foul and want the Feds out of Oregon.

I 100% do NOT agree or support Finicum, nor his band of merry men, but is what they did in Oregon by taking over the National Wildlife Refuge much different than the goals of the rioters in Portland? Can you imaging the Feds setting up a roadblock (with unmarked vehicles, as were some of the vehicles at the Finicum shooting) and "ambushing" the Portland rioters who were on their way to a meeting?

You are right, it is a slippery slope. Do we allow rioters, protesters, militia or whatever you want to label them as to take over our government buildings and land OR do we have our law enforcement officers take a stand? What is the acceptable median?
