    Trump Cruz

If neither candidate wins the magic 1237, would you remain with Republican party if the GOP nominates Rubio or Kasic as the party nomination?

What other party is there to vote for?

I dont consider myself a republican now. The platform has more of what my core values are compared to the democrat platform, so i wont switch voting practices.

The party needs to come to terms with their complicity in the fracturing of the party by becoming democrat light and ignoring the planks of the party. They are the reason trump and cruz have done so well throughout this entire primary cycle so far, because they have abandoned the base, looking for the fringe/swing vote.

I'm done with the GOP for now. The demolition needs to finish up and a new Republican party form that is representative of the people, not its current leadership and the various influences to whom they have sold out.

Both partis are beholden to special interests, and the way the population is heading, you might as well vote democrat and get free stuff.

I agree that the party needs a reformation, but *I* feel it needs to head in a more constitutional based path instead of free give aways at our tax expense.

The Democratic party is the same. They have just been hugely successful with their hate mongering divisive ways - we Republicans think they are wrong. They have convinced themselves we are evil. Hence, they are more blind to the evil within, i.e, HRC.

The Tea Party might be alive and well soon. I might just start sipping tea.

Sitting here in Venice, Italy and the questions have been interesting about our political climate. One gentleman and his wife from Zurich put it best, "the world is truly watching & trying to understand!" All I could say, we are too!

yeah, I would before I voted for HRC, because if I didn't vote; well then it's a half vote for the dems.

The problem with that is that the tea party has already been branded as evil and that is both by Republicans and Democrats. It doesn't matter what it is in reality, it only matters how it is perceived. The tea party is seen as radical and anything radical will not get passed.

I agree with the tea party. They are trying to go back to purely conservative values as in a more limited government and the government only paying for a essential things such as protection and infrastructure. If the name of your organization only gets about 25% popular vote for a majority of the public, how do you win anything?

There are many third parties out there. There in lies the problem. How does any third-party ever get more than 50% popular vote? Sometimes the best way to fight the establishment is from within the establishment. People complain about the Republican Party yet they turned around in but with the same people. Is it the party that is bad or the people who stupidly keep putting the same ones back in office when they don't do what they said they were going to do when you elected them?

                        In my opinion.

Y'all act like the parties have never been turned inside out....

We don't need another 3rd party we've already got at least a dozen...

This isn't any different than any group, club or organization every now and then a new bunch of folks come along and take over running the show...

Now it's the republicans turn again...

I heard some of the talking heads say today that the next POTUS isn't even running yet, and I can easily see that happening this year.. a dark horse will come out of the woodwork or out from under a log and run not as a Republican, Democrat, Tea Party, Libertarian, Socialist, Unitarian or any other ideology...... But as an AMERICAN and sweep the whole thing...

                            Who, might that be???

man, I don't know who it would be but it sounds kinda' biblical to me.

I think that there is something in the bible about this scenario happening.
