I know 1200 per day doesn’t make a dent in the millions who have streamed over, but in comparison ALL of 2024 ICE made 113,431 or about 310 per day. I’d say a 4X clip is a pretty good rate. Not that Biden’s America should be the benchmark, but it’s a turn in a better direction

Not only that, but by simply stopping the flow of aliens from crossing the border makes the 1200 per day exponentially better.

You would literally be fighting the Mexican govt de facto...the Mex govt would need to take the lead if they really want to go after the cartels.

With regards to some bullets flying across, I know I am going to take some heat for this, but I think we need to stay the course and focus on getting these criminals out of the country and not getting dragged into a border fight. They (the cartels) are going to try to throw us off guard with this. Stay cautious and stay the course. There is obviously a line in the sand there...I just don't think they are going to cross it. Remember when DJT ordered the hit on Iran’s soleimani, the guy responsible for tons of American lives in Iraq and Afghanistan, without starting a war? It can be done without starting a conflict, it’s been done before. The Mexican cartels are no different.

Iran govt is just one snake in control & cutting off the heads of cartel leaders is a common occurrence...Cartel del Golfo goes back to prohibition & if you gotta market, someone is always gonna supply.

If Hegseth does this, it better be along the lines of going after fentanyl / China connection & see the OD numbers plummet. I personally don't want to watch the news where US war like operations are going on. That is the mex govt's job.

Who knows, maybe Trump is pinching Mex with the tariffs & will address their assistance on this too...I would rather see the US manipulate Mex with $$$$ & force their hand than any sort of US boots on the ground in mex.

Same here. 17 years of hearing the empty promises & watching family members have their hearts broken repeatedly has caused me to have NO TOLERANCE FOR DRUGGIES!
