Yep. I've contacted my Representative (Jodey Arrington, Chair of the House Budget Committee and member of the Ways and Means Committee) to urge him to support Rep. Gaetz's efforts to bring McCarthy into compliance with his agreements or oust him if he refuses. They need to stop having single votes on continuing resolutions that do nothing to help and only continue the swampy corruption and waste. Arrington says all the right things, but I'm definitely watching to see if he sides with McCarthy or not.

The appropriation process hasn't been followed by Constitutional means in probably 40 years. McCarthy opened himself up to this during his negotiation to become speaker so anyone with an ax to grind or looking to upgrade their profile was bound to do this. As Glenn Beck said, you can't be running from something- you must run to something. So who is going to be the choice? I understand Scalise has had some health issue so he may not be up for it personally.
