I know one thing this has done- I imagine the major city in New Mexico just gained a lot of voters that will be supporting a 2A candidate. Scary times - I’m glad people are just ignoring the idiot

There is no telling how this will play out but it could potentially be great.
I think there are five current lawsuits being filed in federal court in New Mexico to enjoin (issue an injunction) the emergency declaration.
Even when the 30 days expires, I am fairly certain that the issue doesn’t end and can be allowed to go forward. That is because she could again issue some kind of emergency declaration.
If a judge enjoins the declaration and NM pushes the issue, it will go to the 10th Circuit Court. I am reasonably certain that in light of the Bruen decision and my aforementioned cases showing that danger cannot overcome a right, the circuit court will uphold the injunction.
That will set precedent in that circuit which is in NM, KS, OK, UT, CO and WY.
If NM continues and appeals it to the Supreme Court, there are two possible outcomes. The first is the Supreme Court rejects review and allows the 10th Circuit decision to stand. That should allow the 10th Circuit precedent to stand nationwide.
The other option is to grant the case for review and issue their own ruling. It is just my guess but I feel like the Supreme Court would not review the case and allow the 10th Circuit and Bruen be the national precedent.
So my prediction is an injunction halting the order in NM from a federal district judge. NM will fight the injunction and appeal to the 10th Circuit who will uphold the injunction. In doing so the Circuit will not hear the full case/arguments but simply stop its enforcement temporarily. If it is actually later argued in the Circuit then lawyers from both sides will get their day in court. A final ruling will be issued removing a governor’s authority to suspend the Second Amendment, in my opinion. An appeal to the Supreme Court will be denied which will end this shenanigan.
This move by the governor might force the issue and sooner rather than later. I suspect that she might have set in motion an end to such acts.

Well, not to anyone’s surprise, a district judge in NM has enjoined the governor’s order until October 3rd.
Strangely, one of governor’s NM lawyers argued that the Supreme Court was wrong in Bruen therefore the judge should not issue an injunction. Basically, ignore Supreme Court precedent.
According to the YouTube video I watched, the judge shut that argument down immediately, and said the job of the inferior courts is to uphold Supreme Court decisions, not to question them. For one the judge is absolutely correct and secondly, it makes it seem like NM basically has no argument. Like, “Your Honor, please override the Supreme Court”.
Talk about grasping at straws and this is supposed to be one of the lead attorneys for NM? Having never been to law school, this seems like a first year basic 101 constitutional law class.

This is very much a big news story and not just for heavily opinionated pro or anti 2A folks.
A governor banning firearms even for a relatively short period and then a federal judge stepping in to shut it down is an extreme newsworthy story.
If it is ignored by any of the main stream media outlets, there has to be an obvious collusion with a particular party.
I could almost guarantee that if a federal judge upheld the ban as constitutional, it would be the lead story.
