I wonder how many who voted against impeachment actually believed he was genuinely innocent of the charges. That, as opposed to those who knowing their constituents, had to vote that way to keep their jobs, or figured he may be a sleazeball, but at least a sleazeball who is on “our side”.

I dont truly believe anything I see or hear anymore so Im 50/50 on him being guilty of any of the allegations. All politicians at that level I assume have done some shady stuff to get and remain there lol.

the evidence to the FBI by definition is
epistemology, evidence is what justifies beliefs or what makes it rational to hold a certain doxastic attitude. For example, a perceptual experience of a tree may act as evidence that justifies the belief that there is a tree. In this role, evidence is usually understood as a private mental state. Important topics in this field include the questions of what the nature of these mental states is, for example, whether they have to be propositional, and whether misleading mental states can still qualify as evidence.

I went back a watched a lot of this trial, the more I watched it the madder I got, totally uncalled for.
I emailed my rep in the house “he voted yay “ and told him I was very disappointed in him, with inflation and out of control property taxes, there was need for tax payers to have to pay for this, and he did not do his job.
I also told him every Republican that voted for this should have to pay.
they voted for it they pay for it.
total bs, looks like the idiots would have learned their lesson, especially after what happened to trump.
I also told him that drunk Phelan needs to step down immediately, he cost the tax payers millions because he got his feelings hurt.

So those mad saying he did nothing wrong- how to explain the remodel to his house in Austin that was part of this? I guess his office helping the Paul guy had nothing to do with him getting a free remodel from the guy? Like I said earlier I have low expectations for politicians and I’m sure he isn’t the only one that has used his office for personal free stuff.Last edited by glen; 09-18-2023, 04:56 AM.

I am fairly sure that Mr Paxton has definitely dabbled in his share of unethical activities because there is too much smoke from his camp imo. But the problem these low life’s that tried to impeach him obviously went about it all the wrong way. At the end of the day this will make Paxton more brazen but hopefully he will turn into something good for all of us and clean his house up moving forward. I have liked his stances on the Biden Administration to date with the tools he has in his tool box.

Every single one of the people going after Paxton including Paxton himself could have said this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvDcJydVcHo

I have been going over it for days, sometimes twice to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
Witnesses were horrible and with no evidence on top of that.
looks like they could have found something if there was something.
Could he be a good guy fighting evil “democrats “?
Trump tried to do everything he could for the good of our country, and they hated him for.
special counsel found nothing.

Wierd thing just happened. I Just left the mailbox with a flashy mailer from my state rep cody vasut stating all of his accomplishments. He conveniently left off "voted to impeach Paxton". Guess that was for the low information voter. Gonna take more than a mailer for me.
I helped put him in office, but i hope someone primaries him next spring.
