Screw those people. Anyone who tells you they have never made a bad shot hasn't hunted much. They happen to us all. Congrats and good job to you and your guide.

Any deer recovered within 50 yds of hit is a good shot. Congratulations.

Good point and really nice story its all gravy from here. I remember that day for me even after a good many years congratulations.

You no Genevieve, it may not be my place. But your comment really made me realize how many great reviews and how much enjoyable fellowship we must miss out on from people who feel the same way you do.

Being a public forum I'm not really sure what can be done about the extreme of what you described but often I wonder if what if written comes through stronger than it was intended.Never the less what you withheld was what I joined this forum to take part in; learn from and enjoy.

What I say is; when it comes down to it everyone will have their say. I think that we all should consider what we are allowing the majority of us to do without for the opinions of a few. I'm just saying.

Congrats on the bowkill.very impressive. On the 17th I had a very mature doe do the same matrix move... Instead of the vitals I intended... She ducked so low... It caught her in the back of head! Brutal head shot. She dropped instantly.

The only reason I was so calm was because i was 100% confident that i could make the shot and that was only because of everything you have taught me. It really helps to shoot with someone that knows what they are doing. I can't tell y'all how much i have learned from Jason...once I finally shut up and listened

I really thought Jason was going to jump out of the blind after i shot the doe. Lol he was just moving windows so he could see.

Great post and welcome! Some people on here like to start trouble on any thread they can. It does get old after awhile. I don't care what they think but i get tired of hearing negative comments. I am proud of my doe and so happy that Jason was with me when I shoot my first deer with a bow. I just didn't want to get bashed for a not so perfect shot.

Job well done anytime you touch that trigger on a release anything can happen .Your job is to practice and try your best and nobody can judge that. Congrats

She was feeding. Flicking her tail. Gens bow is about 35 pounds pushing a 370 grain arrow. It is ultra quiet. When she hit the release that doe almost blew her liver outta her butt!!!
