It was an excuse not to post a report you know how some people can be. They're a perfect shot 100% of the time. I am hard on myself and expected better. I'm still disappointed about it but I'll get over it, it wasnt anything I did wrong.

I know exactly what you mean. I had a ninja matrix doe dodge my arrow twice. Have no clue how she did it. But the third hunt I was on to her tricks. Congrats. Dont beat yourself up about the shot. She is down quick and on ice so it was a good shot

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I love hearing about and seeing other women getting out there and bowhunting....and the moment of your first bow kill is like no other feeling. There will be so many more stories of deer doing crazy things and nothing going as planned BUT that is bowhunting and thats how experience happens. sometimes no matter what you do perfect you can't predict what the animal is going to do and he's right you obviously didn't do anything wrong if you got a dead deer congrats, congrats, congrats!! your hooked now!!!
