12 for sure. 20 too small of a pattern.

      20 pump. If I was on a meat hunt, I'd hunt a 12, but a 20 just takes a little more skill.

12 because the ammo is cheaper.

28 because it's just fun to shoot.

20ga with 1oz. You are wasting your time with the cheap 7/8oz shot. Just makes noise.

All I have are 12 gauges so that's what I shoot. The doves are real
            safe with me shooting!

Switched back to the 20 a few years ago and my dad thought I was nuts. I got my limit really quick. I got a Stoger 20 a couple of years ago and haven't made my mind up on it just yet. the birds haven't been flying really well the last couple of years. I also use 1oz shells.

I'll start with my 28 gauge...

and then switch to the 12 later in the season when the birds are flying high.

12, I use it for everything. Did shot some clays today and tried a 20. I liked the light weight and smallness of it. I could hit pretty good with it but not so good for far off.

                              20 O/U; full/modified.

I don't even own a 12. My shooting percentage over the course of 4 days in Argentina was no lower than anyone shooting a 12 (with the exception of the one Class A shooter who would have out-shot me with a BB gun).
