A place I hunt in Wood county (hawkins), the lady claims there are red wolves. Which I doubt. But I also doubted there were timber rattlers like she said as I had never seen seen one anywhere near home. But she was right about that so who knows. I know I've gotten pictures of a pack of wild dogs, and then this guy. I can't make up my mind if it's some type of mix or what but no one around there has any dog that looks like this.

I talked to a gamewarden that was stationed in east tx for a while and he said that there are some wolves in Louisiana that sometimes make their way across the lake/River but its rare

now i have met an old couple through my job who had a wolf for a pet. That thing was huge. The man was pretty cool too . He retired from the FBI and was one of the people who investigated the Kennedy assassination .

I know the animals that are around me. If you knew me personally, you would know that if I say I saw a Wolf, then I saw a Wolf.

I can definatley understand how you could not believe, don't know that I would if the roles were reversed. But for the rest of you, (except for Cuzins8) they are out there.
I don't live in east Tx, but I spend a lot of time out there in the woods on my property. There are wolves, I hear them. I know what a tote sounds like, they don't howl like wolves and I've heard them. Dunno why everyone is so skeptical of them.

That's how it's been called since I've lived around here since the early 70's.
