I have used Goat Tuff with no problems at all. Then a dab of super glue on the leading edge.

Haven't had one come off yet. Haven't had a bottle go bad yet.

I use the Loc-Tite gel as well. My brother used the Bohning glue they suggest for blazers. Might as well have been trying to stick it on with water. Walmart always has a good supply too.

I have been using Fletch tite Platinum on Blazers and having poor success. Are the blazers harder to glue ? What about the prep for glueing on carbon shafts. Give me some clues.

I am curious as to why you fellas dab the tips ends with super glue and not your glue of choice..

I agree. I need to find some Platinum Super glue.

I fletch hundreds and hundreds(probably thousands), of carbon arrows a year with Blazer vanes, and I use the regular Fletch-tite. I have near zero failure, even with Whisker Biscuits.
Prep is the key, and I use denatured alcohol on the shaft, and then I wipe the vanes, and use an E-Z fletch aluminum right helical fletcher and put an O-ring on the arms around the fletching.
If you are using the Fletch-Tite in the tube, more than likely it is old and won't adhere anymore. I buy the glue in Quarts and use so much that it stays fresh.
Fletch-tite is no longer available from Bohning, so I have to use Fletch-Tite Platinum from now on.
If you are fletching a shaft that has had a wrap on it in the past, you will have to use furniture stripper to remove the glue residue or vanes will not adhere.
I use the stripper on all shafts that I refletch to remove any kind of glue they were previously fletched with so that I'm fletching on uncontaminated carbon.
Everything needs to be cleaned with denatured alcohol before glueing.
Just the way I do it, and it works.
I also dab the ends of the vane also, but I use the same glue.

Another vote for Fletch Tite Platinum, no problems with Blazers staying on the GoldTips.

keep your "thinner" type glues in the refrigerator when not being used. I haven't tried the "gel" type glues yet so I don't know if the same would apply.

All the cyanoacrylate (super)glues will evaporate and thicken if left out.

I have been using Goat Tuff for a few years for fletching and inserts with no problems.

What Rocky said. Prep is the key.
