I agree with the prepping of the shafts with denatured alcohol but i was told by Fay at North Texas Archery that if you prep the shafts with a very thin layer of glue then glue the blazers to it they bond great....I have used this method quite a bit with no failure. I cannot keep fletchings on Wrapped arrows for some reason i always knock them off. I tried using some super fast gels and always had issues with it becoming too brittle and breaking off. I found a new super glue i use for inserts it is Gorilla Glue with Impact Tough rubber. It works great. No lost inserts or Nibbs at all...Works great but i am weary of using it on blazers for some reason. I guess there is no need changing what works. I will just keep using Fletch-Tite Platinum until it decides not to work anymore.

Tried the AAE, and the fletch tite Plat.
But nothing compares to Loctite Super Glue, get the new UltraGel not just the Gel. Its rubbery when set and can withstand cold/heat I am unable to pull off vanes even with pliers it is just impossible its that tough, I use wraps now also so I can get them refletched quicker. Heres what Loctite say.
" Loctite® UltraGel™ Rubber toughened Super Glue provides a super-tough bond that resists Impact, shock and vibration. Withstands temperature extremes (-20° through 80°). It is ideal for bonds subject to daily use and harsh conditions. The rubber toughened formula is also outdoor safe and gives more time to align pieces before the glue takes hold" .
Provides a super-tough bond the resists Impact, Shock, Vibration and Temperature Extremes.
The Rubber Toughened Fomula is Outdoor Safe.
Drip-free gel formula for no-mess performance.
Pin-point squeeze-control dispensing.
Self-piercing, no-clog cap.
