They're good rests. Only noisy (imo) if your arrow isn't smooth. Gold Tips use to be noisy for me. Switched to Beamans or Carbon Express and had no problems. Now shooting a drop zone, but thinking of changing to something like the biscuit. Can't remeber the name of the rest, but it looks similar to a biscuit. Has some arms with bristle that hold the arrow, but when you shoot the arms fall back into the rest. Supposedly giiving you the benefits of both a biscuit and a drop away.

Use an arrow like the ics hunter that has a slick coating on it and there will be zero noise. I had some carbon express arrows that sounded like grinding sand everytime i pulled back because they had no coating. Also 2" blazers are the vanes to use with this rest.

i switched from WB to qad pro and never looked back.....i was shooting a lot in those days and the WB was hell on my 4 inch fletching.......i would try refletching the arrows and they didnt last long at all no matter what glue i tried....i figure the hostage rests do the same thing without all the fletching contact but i never used one

I am another who tried the Whisker Biscuit and did not like it. I was forever having problems with the vanes being ripped off my arrows. Some arrows that came feltched, so that I fletched. I ended up having to refletch them all because of it. I liked the containment of it though.

When I learned about the RipCord and how it is also a full containment rest, but drops away when you shoot, I went that way. I loved it. With my new bow I went with the QAD Ultra Pro HD and really like it too.

The Whisker Biscuit is not for me. I will stick to the drop away rest with the full containment.

I have used a WB for years. The main thing to keep in mind is that for best results, the arrow needs to be slick and use 2" Blazers. If you do this, it is a deatly combination. I use Beaman ICS and don't have any problems at all.

I use a biscuit with the largest hole that I can find. That way, the arrow only rides on the black bristles during the draw.

Keep it clean and it should be fairly quiet. Everbody is correct about usin a slick arrow.

                Good luck!

I reckon that was a little harsh........

Oh, but don't forget the FPS you will be robbing from the arrow for no apparent reason...

Joey now I can certainly go with it for youngsters....

FTR, I had one on my first bow, hunted with it, and killed a few critters.

I think it serves its purpose well but like most people (not including Joey and Tink), you'll want to upgrade to a drop-away sooner than you think.

Sorry, Joey ... you and Tink are the only people that endorse the Whiskey Biscuits!
