i played baseball washers this weekend. same rules but with 4 holes set up as a baseball diamond

One hole, with carpet, three points in the hole, one point for each one closer than your opponent.

Anyone in the Dallas area that wants to get schooled can go with me to a washer league I sometimes play in on the first Wednesday of the month. There are ten teams that play, but during the summer we play open league and draw for partners.

If you're really good, you'll get a piece of 2x6 metal framing base channel and fasten it below the hole.

If you make as many hole-ers as I do, you would soon wear a groove on the board picking it up to retrieve your washers.

The slide kicks the washer right out the back so you never have to set your beer down.

Isn't that the point?

3 hole / 1 hole - it don't matter to me. I like carpet on washer boards. I don't like a back board as I have seen too many bounce back scores.

I do like carpet on my boards, but the carpet does keep the boards in better shape.

I am a 3 hole washer board guy.

1,3,5 points respectivly.
Game to 21.
Must not bust 21 or you go back to 11
11 to 0 and the game is over.

Those holes look way to big for the those washers (IMO)

THis is they typical rules in South central Louisiana also. We use 4 inch holes and a 2 3/4" washer. The boards are 11 feet apart. We had a July 4th tournament all evening Saturday. The winner received a hand painted LSU washer board set with all the baseball NC's on it.

I've played washers all my life, but never with no board... it's always been with a pork 'n bean can in the ground... some places use 3 holes and some use just one... I like the single hole best...

We have tossed around the idea of TBH washer sets and Bombat will do them if there are 12 sets or something like that. We talked about it, but never got it done. I would in for a set.
