    Ok, ok... You twisted my arm... My weight with one 18 pack (in my gut, not holding ) is 280.

    Goal: one day at a time with 200 in mind for the long run
    How: Cut out trans fats, starches and excersize more than I eat...

    My wife says that this is perfect timing for me to lose... The doctor just put me on steroids for my shoulder and I guess it increases your appetite

            O.K. I'm in. Just got off of the scale at 242 lbs. My goal is 210 like I was 18months ago. I'll use the same plan I used then. Eat clean, workout with weights 3 x per week and cardio 3x per week.

            I also think Legdogs method would be the most fair by going by percentage lost....

              I'll join in, too. I'll have to weigh again, but the last time I did about 10 days ago I weighed about 226. My goal is about 190, but I would be happy to get below 200 again. Though I am not nearly as worried about what I weigh, as long as I loose this stomach. If I weighed 225 and it's all muscle, that would be fine with me. Now that I am getting older, I doubt that will ever happen again. Since I got my desk job in October of 2005, I've put on about 35 pounds.

              I plan to start exercising, and cut out the chocolate, eat more chickin' plus not eat such big meals. I'll try snacking every 3 hours as suggested above.

                Well, my plans to work out on day #1 just got busted!

                When I found out that BigL was in SF an hour north of me I figured I can always work out, but meet another bowhunter from Texas here in CA is a rare event.

                Does running AWAY from anti-hunters and guys dressed in pink count if it gets your heartbeat over 160?

                Caution- this yo-yo is not for the weak of heart!

                  Bill - don't worry about day 1. I won't get started until Monday. Before you get here our Microsoft Rep in SF is going to take me to a big steak dinner. I'm not a little guy but this rep is about 6'7" and about 350. I fly out tomorrow evening, but I have 3 kids birthday parties to take my son to this weekend so it will probably be a lot of cake and hot dogs. BTW - I PM'ed you the address to the hotel that I'm staying at.

                  I start http://www.seal-fit.com on Monday so I might as well enjoy these last few days.

                    i'm in too...current weight is 241 and want to be 190...plan on cutting out cokes and fast food...working out 5 times a day and eat 6 meals a day

                        "eating 6 meals a day" - That's what I do but I think it's supposed to be SMALL meals not 6 full meals like what I eat!

                            this is what i have done in the past and works...
                            morning--slimfast
                            morning snack-- bkfst bar
                            lunch-- slimfast
                            later lunch -6" sub
                            later- snack bar
                            dinner- grilled chicken & salad
