im in....start weight 225lbs my goal weight is 195lbs.

Well I'm a few weeks ahead of the game! I weighed in at 240 on New Years Eve! I have dropped 20 lbs since then. So far I have just cut back on what I eat, don't eat after 6:30, drink more water, and totally cut out BEER! I still have a crown and diet coke every now and again. I haven't started working out yet, I'll do that when my weight loss stops. My goal is to hit 185-190, by June! It really is amazing how much better you feel just by losing 20 lbs!

Okay...I am in at 240, mostly around the middle...hope to get down to 210. If so, I'm gonna be dangerous...a lean, mean, girlie machine.
Men will fear me. Women will be chasing me, but being happily married, I will break their hearts!
Not yet sure of my diet routine, but for sure less proportions, more salads, fruits, veggies and water...less beer, more excrysize.
Dang, Rob! I thought those girls were your daughters!!!

BigL, great to meet you last night in San Fran, although I missed YMCA workout #1 and had a microbrewed beer (to be social, of course)! Funny waiting for somebody from Texas you don't know on a corner in SF- Chinese guy (no), homeless guy (no), bunch of 20-something girls going into the bar (no), guy with yellow hair with purple on the ends (no), normal-looking guy who looks like a bowhunter (yes).

8. "Belly pictures" of your BEFORE are OK to post, but with a shirt on, please! This is a family-rated site for Pete's sake = another one that just doesn't work for me! But for those that post their bellies I will certainly take part in making fun of you and laughing at you!

Well folks, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm right at 350 lbs and want to get down to about 250 before the end of the year.....eventually working my way down to 225 to stay. I'm only 37 years of age but my body was acting like it was 50+. It severly limited my waterfowling enjoyment this year as well as a host of other things in my outdoors endeavors. Over New Years I made a vow with another buddy to get it done and I'm sticking to it. Wife and I are trying to get pregnant and I don't want to miss anything should we be lucky enough to have a child.
I'm over a month into it and am down 15+ lbs. I have stepped up the exercise as I go along and am to the point where I am riding a recumbent stationary bike 16 miles a day under a doctors watch. 8 miles in the am and 8 miles in the PM. My diet is Atkins esque but under my doctor's supervision it involves more lean meats like turkey, chicken, and lean beef as well as a lot of vegetables. Carbs are watched closely eating only the good ones. Portion control is the number one key. No sugar, breads, tortillas, sweets or sodas except 1 caffeine diet coke a night I drink with some Crown.
I feel 100 times better already and am looking forward to getting back close to the weight I met my wife at in 1996 which was 202. With yall's help I will get there.....

Well here goes, I'm at 6'2" 358 want to get to 250. I'm sick with some sort of stomach virus so I'm getting a head start with it, I hope. I'm sick of being fat and want to get back to a healthy weight for my own and my family's sake and also where I can play with my little girl with out feeling like I'm gonna die. I start eating at home over the last couple of weeks and can already feel the weight slowly coming off. We got to where we were eating way to much fast food. I got married five years ago and have added about 20 lbs a year. I will start exercising just as soon as I get over my stomach virus. I wish everyone luck with their goals and hope you can help me stay motivated!!!!!!

Im in 255 this morning - put on 55lbs since I got out of the Corps. I plan to get down to 200-205. I am going to cut out all my fast food - no more diet cokes - I really love my Diet Coke - thats gonna be tough - planning meals - counting calories - and some form of cardio/weights workout for 1 hour per day 5 days a week.

Thank you Junior & Berandel. They are in excellent shape and it's pushing me to stay here.
BigL I'm not going back to 200 again. I turned 28 years old when I grew into 34's and outgrew them at 36 years old. That's over 11 years ago and I'm making darn sure I stay here now.Last edited by AtTheWall; 03-02-2007, 04:36 PM.
