Nope, only second best. China berrys are perfectly round!
Oh and Robins love China berries. Pretty much all seed eating birds love the tallow berries when they dry and pop open!

Should just be putting a small amount on stump. Shouldn’t even run off the stump much. Not the best either way but more sure fire way to prevent resprout.

That would be the scourge of SE Texas.

          Worse than a hog infestation.

They will ‘poison’ the round around them so other ones of their kind will grow.

Take any and all measure to eradicate them now before they take hold.

Only good side is whitewings love their seeds.

That is NOT a China Berry or China Berry tree. China berries are perfectly round. The tallow berry is 3 lobed and not really round.

I would……. It would be a lot less harmful than letting them take hold of the area.

And they will, especially if they are already fruit bearing,

It’s a Chinese tallow, not a Chinaberry. Cut it and paint/spray the stump with Garlon 3a or another aquatic-safe formulation of triclopyr, since it’s down in a creek bed.

Kill it, worse dam tree to ever be introduced to this state. Whoever had the bright idea to make rubber from a Chinese tallow was a dim light bulb

forgot about the white milk liquid they produce ... I now remember it being sticky with an odor. Pretty sure it's toxic to certain species of animals.

Most herbicides intended for plants become inactive when they hit the soil. The ones that remain active in the soil aren’t typically sold at tractor supply.

Cut the stem off at the stump. Get a herbicide from tractor supply with the active ingredient of imazapyr, imazamox, or Triclopyr. Spray the stump right after you cut it and you’ll be good.
