Nope, only second best. China berrys are perfectly round!
Oh and Robins love China berries. Pretty much all seed eating birds love the tallow berries when they dry and pop open!
I understand they're invasive. I just wouldnt poison my creek. Maybe dig it out?

Should just be putting a small amount on stump. Shouldn’t even run off the stump much. Not the best either way but more sure fire way to prevent resprout.
Wore a many a whelp from them rascals when I was a kid! Also don't rub your eyes after you've been messing with them berries because that milk they produce burns like a motha!
It’s a Chinese tallow, not a Chinaberry. Cut it and paint/spray the stump with Garlon 3a or another aquatic-safe formulation of triclopyr, since it’s down in a creek bed.
When the world ends there’ll be a mesquite and tallow tree fighting for ground with a feral hog, coyote and cockroach shaded up under them [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

forgot about the white milk liquid they produce ... I now remember it being sticky with an odor. Pretty sure it's toxic to certain species of animals.

Most herbicides intended for plants become inactive when they hit the soil. The ones that remain active in the soil aren’t typically sold at tractor supply.
Cut the stem off at the stump. Get a herbicide from tractor supply with the active ingredient of imazapyr, imazamox, or Triclopyr. Spray the stump right after you cut it and you’ll be good.
