I certainly hope you live in the country so that you do not have to worry about what your neighbors are doing all the time.
One person passing on a house is EXACTLY what it means it means to be a detriment to property values! And this is just the one we know about.
Unless the homeowner in question painted painted his bricks chartreuse (or some other outlandish color), your example is absurd. Try again.

After seeing the photo, it appears the neighbor built their house too close to the property line... I'd be curious to see where it is located on their lot but they probably put it that close to the property line to take advantage of it being the OPs backyard.
The OP only has one place on the property to store the trailer and that's where he put it. For those that say he should move it, where is he to move it to?

here is the scene from the street. and it is a early 90s trailer, but not trashed, well maintained for its age.

everything to the left is my yard, and anywhere i move it to, it will be sprayed by the septic system and i would have to build a new fence to hide it behind per city ordinance.
their view is a 6ft wooden fence with 2ft of trailer above it, or 6ft wooden fence with tops of cedar trees. they have no scenic view in that direction even if the trailer was gone.Last edited by bullets13; 05-04-2023, 01:25 PM.

Great response!
