No hoa doesnt mean squat. You need to look at the deed restrictions filed in the county. Most say the rules of no or x amount of trailers or trailers need to be out of sight. Your best bet is to talk to a real estate pro in that county to pull the records not some green screen warriors.

He said that he was Grandfathered in. If he moves it then they would have leverage on anything else that bothers them. Personally, I have looked at a lot of properties and if I saw something I didn’t like about the potential neighbors surroundings on their property I just simply moved along. Chances are, they will always have something in their yard that wouldn’t suit the way I live.

Of course you could always negotiate a “moving fee” in the deal. It may be worth it to move that trailer if they are willing to pay. If not they can pound sand.
