I get what you are saying but I think if the buyer is that particular on their expectations or standards then perhaps they move on and find a place that has greater restrictions to live by so they don't get their feelings hurt.
As the buyer they are only in control at the buying decision point, Either buy or walk away for a place that is more suitable for you.

You can't expect to buy a place and then expect everyone around you to conform to your standards & expectations.

In my opinion, the buyer needs to find a place that has greater restrictions on what can be stored and how it can be stored

I've read through this thread twice. Then called two different relatives that are realtors. Also called an in-law that's an HOA president. I even showed the threadto my wife who read through it as well. So as you can see I'm pretty invested in this thing.

After all that time and effort spent I've come to one simple conclusion...

Post #109 is not receiving the accolades that it deserves.

That is all. Carry on with your trailer measuring contest.

Interesting thread. Not that it matters, I wouldn’t want to look at my own camper in my backyard much less any of my adjoining neighbors.

We’ve said it enough for you. We know!

I'd move a couple of old refrigerators and a rusty hot water heater next to it and call it a day.

There’s so many things wrong here and from my perspective, it all starts with the potential buyer as has been stated numerous times.

Worried about the camper being backed up near the rear common fence? Plant a tree or some other sort of decorative landscaping to block it from view.

Deed restrictions. Who says there are any to begin with? Believe it or not, there was a time not all that long ago where there were subdivisions that didn’t have them or were just enough to keep curb appeal up. Such restrictions would generally state along the lines that licensed non motorized vehicles and trailers must be kept either behind the from building line of the house or inside of a fenced rear yard. Going by the OP, it clearly looks like that stipulation is being followed, if it even exists to begin with.

OP also said they’re grandfathered after the city annexed the subdivision, that would suggest that any existing or future ordinances do not apply to storage of a camping trailer on the property.

This entire situation really looks like someone moving to a rural/semi-rural area is more used to urban life and should probably find a place to move that resembles where they’re coming from instead of trying to make neighbors adjust to their desires. It never works, seen it before with people who moved to such areas and all they did was try to make everyone around them miserable.

OP, keep doing your thing. You can let the flipper know that the trailer will be moved once you find a new hunting lease if you want, but can’t guarantee that it won’t be back at some point in time. And absolutely don’t sign anything. He bought the house to try and turn a profit, selling it is his problem.

That’s okay. You can still be my neighbor.

Settle down. You can still be my neighbor, too.

Do you have any duty to respond to a flipper’s needs?

I’m sure nobody wanted to touch that one. Not even with a 10-inch pole.

Yup, don't waste your energy. Not your concern

Yep, I agree. You give a little now and you'll wind up with them demanding more and more as time goes on. I'd tell them to go kick rocks.
