All tortillas taste the same.

Couldn’t be further from the truth! Maybe all store bought pre-made taste the same but not from scratch. Too many variables and methods. Mine from scratch taste different than Taqueria Jalisco from scratch. Same with Rosa’s (if you want to call theirs handmade)

Flour or corn?

Curious…why?

Since we've gotten away from processed wheat flour in my house, I'd have to go with corn. Occasionally, when I have a flour tortilla, they now taste a little "pasty" to me. Go figure.

Pasty? Geez Louise! All of a sudden I’m reminded of watching the Clinton/Lewinsky series the other night, and it shows him jogging with his pasty white laigs! I think I will throw up!

I aint about to pick one or the other, and you can't make me!

When Simek was a little baby, instead of a Pacifier (Chupete - Spanish & Dudlik - Czech), his mouth was stuffed with a tortilla instead.

And as he grew up, all was replaced by Pivos/Cervezas!

Both, handmade flour. Corn handmade preferably but I’m not picky. I sell about 450 handmade flour tortillas on a weekday and more on the weekends. My customers hands down prefer flour.

The heb ones are good, Albertsons by my house has some good ones too.
