I've had to cut back on flour tortillas. I was getting tortilla poisoning. It was causing an inflammation of the midsection.

Both of them have their place depending on what's cooking, I refuse to choose

Home made Corn. I like the tortillas made with nopales but good ones aren’t easy to find.

These are the only tortillas in our house these days. Only exception is corn for fish tacos

I wish they would make corn tortillas as big as the big flour tortillas. I prefer corn but flour works better for quesadillas.

                    All tortillas taste the same.

Tortillas are always going to be the best freshly made the same day. I think you need technique and lard to mix a fluffy tortilla when going homemade.

1/4 inch flour tortillas about 12” diameter is my preference for any burrito. And corn for tacos.
For you blacksone guys a quick tortilla mix can be made with those refrigerated flour biscuits. Buttermilk or regular. Roll them out about 1/4” thick and the roundness of a pie plate then cook at 450-500 degrees on the black stone till they start forming brown on the tortilla.

Flour. Since I am fat and limiting carbs I do the carb balance ones from Mission.

HEB Buttery Bakery Flour tortillas - right off that $80,000 tortilla machine and stuffed in a warm cooler.

Corn bought made and sold at Mary's Tacos in Kerrville, Helotes and or Boerne.

                                BOTH
