I wonder if we could see past the edge with live scope.

That's the Upside-down world, gotta watch the "Stranger Things" series to get a glimpse of that place.

There is nothing wrong at all with being mildly curious. That is basically what science is all about. The problem is there is a preponderance of data that confirms the earth is in fact, a sphere. My issue is people can be given literally a solar system of facts and still can't make the correct conclusion.

I’ve been open minded and listened to their arguments. I believe a lot of the conspiracies, but not flat earth lol.

I've been lurking on this forum for a very short time, and today I felt the need to post because I'm terribly offended by the lack of respect you all have for us in not looking into the truth...

It is three elephants (four elephants don't make a pyramid), and they are on a tortoise (not a turtle).

If you go to Tierra del Fuego provincia, and take a 90 degree left you will find the edge after traveling 1216.7 km.

Also, it is not perfectly flat... more "wet blanket draped over an elephant" shape. Hence why the Cornelius effect has to be taken into account.

              Got any harder questions, weirspheredios?

This will never be one of those situations. If you are even mildly curious you are stupid.
I'm curious. My curiosity is more in line with wanting to research their beliefs to see how anyone could fall into such a bizarre theory. It's kind of like trying to figure out how anyone could ever vote for a Democrat in this day and age. Is it their committed hatred for the opposition, or their inability to accept or admit they were wrong. Maybe both, or something entirely different. I don't know but I find myself curious over it. Bizarre things seem to attract attention I guess. I'm a little afraid of the flat earth thing tho, I don't want to get sucked in!
I watched the link in the post above debunking the moon landing and wish I hadn't. It has some pretty compelling evidence that points to a hoax. Now I'm on the fence and I was completely happy before, believing we landed on the moon. But I also haven't researched their evidence to prove that it isn't a hoax as well. Probably not going down that rabbit hole, so I'll just assume we landed on the moon, with an *

Yeah, I don't get it either. Bad Religion covered all of this stuff back in the eighties.

Well, that could be a possibility.

It appears I need to look to better tackle when fishing in this group... sorry, I couldn't resist playing the contrarian when reading through the thread. Maybe me being the only opposing person is a good sign - post #8 is actually making people think.

I thought it was a for sure thing you guys were going to curb stomp my post. Probably should of let it "marinate" a bit more... whatever. You guys are a tough crowd.

Also, how many looked up the most southern port in the world? Had to make it sound legit.

I'm not a flat earther and I don't know how old it is but I recently found out that geologists use circular reasoning to prove its age. If you ask them how they know how old certain layers of the earth are, they tell you because it contains certain index fossils. If you ask them how they know the age of those index fossils, they tell you because they're found in certain layers of the earth.

I also heard (for the 1st time) fossilized human (or at least humanoid) footprints including an alleged one with a trilobite embedded in it. As well as the discovery of live pre-historic (before dinosaurs) fish that turned out not to be extinct that have not evolved over the last 420 million years.

I'd also never heard of the failed attempts at proving the accuracy of carbon dating after the Mt St Helens eruption (they tried to use it to date rock formed from the eruption). Wild stuff.

I've read most scientist know carbon dating is highly unreliable but they won't let go of it because they have no other way of calculating earth age....even if it's wrong.
