11 weeks old today. 46 of those days spent in the hospital and counting, but he still woke up from the unimaginable with a smile. This boy continues to beat the odds.

Beautiful. I’m a grandfather and feel for you.

If I’m still moving Lord willing, I’ll take him elk hunting when he’s old enough to hunt Montana. If he can keep up with an 86 year old guy then!

              God bless.

Oh my wonderful Jesus! My heart jumped the moment I saw that picture. What a beautiful child!

Father with our mouths we call this child ours but in our hearts we know he belongs to You and we know you have greater plan for him than we do. Please do not allow us to interfere with those plans but to strengthen and aid in the execution of them. Lord we continue to pray to You for the healing of Your child's heart. Thank you Jesus for allowing us to be a part of Your plans and be filled with the joy that comes from them.
                        In Jesus name, Amen

Update- Little man has been making big moves. 8 days post-op and 26 days in the ICU, he has been cleared to be moved back to the step-down cardiac floor. [emoji120][emoji119]
That’s the floor he was originally admitted to back on January 23rd before going into complete heart failure and moved to the CICU. They did an echocardiogram this morning and it showed improvement from last week. Function is still not 100% yet and there is still some regurgitation, but overall they are happy with the progress. They continue to pull lines and adjust medications. His bnp numbers were way back up this morning, but they are working to get them back down. He still has fluid on his lungs and heart so still needs to be on IV diuretics. Oxygen support is still needed, but getting weened back as well. Pain management is going to work with him today also. Still on a feeding tube but was able to eat a little bit out of a bottle yesterday. While he still has a long road ahead, he has made huge progress in a short amount of time. Only explanation is we serve a mighty God [emoji120][emoji120]
As always, continued prayers for this fierce little warrior as he continues to fight. We are so incredibly thankful for the amount of love and prayers being sent his way. We know that’s what is carrying him through [emoji170][emoji120][emoji120] #godturnitaround
