Thank You Jesus for a successful surgery!
Father we ask that you finish the work started by the Dr's and complete the mending of Colts heart and also strengthen and heal his lungs. Jesus, please give this family comfort, peace, and rest in the promise of Your love.
Lord we place our complete trust and faith in You as We praise Your Holy Name. Thank You, Jesus, Amen.

Newest update.
Update- since surgery Colt overall is doing okay. He is still on the ventilator and getting lots of help, but making some small steps forward. They have started removing some lines. The echo this morning showed that the left part of his heart is not functioning very good yet. Hopefully it will get used to the new plumbing and kick in pretty soon[emoji120][emoji120] it causes his oxygen levels to drop so they can’t extubate him until he can hold his own. He’s also had a fever off and on so they are running some tests to rule out infection. Whenever they do lower the sedation meds at all, he is as feisty as ever and that fighting spirit kicks back in [emoji170]This is going to be a really slow process so we really won’t have much to update for a little bit. We appreciate everyone reaching out to check on him and for all the many prayers coming his way. He would not be where he is today if it weren’t for the good Lord and your prayers. They reminded us again this morning that Colts was one of the worst cases they’ve seen. It’s heartbreaking to see his little body so beat up, but he is the toughest little man around. [emoji109]
Continued prayers as this is going to be a hard road for him to recovery. Prayers his heart will start functioning properly soon and he can hold his oxygen levels. Prayers for his lungs as well and no infection [emoji170][emoji120][emoji120]
