Are those prop plane trainers what I'm hearing when out at the lease in Brackettville?

They are always within earshot but can rarely see any planes.

Sounds like dive bomb maneuvers and a lot of them.

People in camp think they are crop dusters, but it would have to be whole lot of crop dusting going on in that barren wasteland to match up to the amount of noise they are making.

      Interesting.

I had a Blackhawk hover to within a hundred yards or so when I was at the edge of a huge clearing one time in Splendora. Pretty neat.

Two weeks ago I had three ospreys fly over the house following the river west. All three were desert tan. That same day there was a white osprey with blue engines flying in and out of the llano airport at least 5 times. Never seen them here before.

I would prefer our military be prepared cant be ready sitting on the tarmac or in a hanger. Fly'em boys and girls. Be ready.

Dont know, but have had several people ask me why they keep seeing trains loaded down with military eqpt headed south. I asked all three when they saw it and it was different times and different days

Well we did shoot down another “High Altitude Object” over Alaska today so there is no telling what’s going on.

Not to add to the “conspiracy theorists” but met a tbher at bucceess in Terrell Monday and there was 4-5+commercial tour buses loaded with the nations finest getting themselves some beaver nuggets. Was a pretty gathering of camo fatigues.

And there was that retired general predicting war with China by 2025. I'd rather our troops be prepared even if it's, as I hope, a big bag of nothing.

EDIT - by "war" I mean open war and not the current cold war and economic war we are fighting with them.

I'm sure every branch is doing some sort of training with the heightened security threats in the last several months via Russia and now China. If I were yall I wouldn't be worried that they are training for worst case scenario, I'd be worried if there weren't.

Yep, I usually see a few Humvees on 281 around this time of year. I guess heading to SA to train. Haven't seen any this year, but I'm sure it will start at any time.
