What are we preparing for? Fighter Jets

I'm out here in Blanco and I've seen more fighter jets in two days than I've seen in three years. Usually they just pass over, but now they seem to be training or dog fighting. I'm sure it just training, but the timing couldn't be worse.

I live directly under a training area for Randolph AFB. Luckily, or unfortunately depending on your take, it’s just prop trainers and not jets.

There are T38s coming out of Randolph AFB flying around out there right now. They are west of San Antonio though.

I use to be a deer lease in east Texas and buddys tower stand sat on a hill. One Friday, I had two jets come in using it for a target. You could see the whites in their eyes they banked and hit the afterburners. Talk about screwing up a hunt.
