I did for a couple years before I got in the oil field. It wasnt a good fit for me. Id be sitting at the computer and see a squirrel outside. 5 hours later I realized I was supposed to be working.

Not having to commute is making it harder to retire. Work three days a week , enjoy my remote co-workers, like what I do, wife is covered by top shelf insurance an extra (embarrassed to say) few dollars every month. My employer know if cuts are necessary I don't want any younger folks to be hit. That said with my time and vacation I would get about 8 months severance. Work is just more fun when you do not have to.
