I'm sure they didn't follow the rules to some extent, just don't understand the rules myself. Question: If you hunt a corn field or any standing corn, are you in fact illegally hunting over bait? Or is the problem that they picked the corn and piled it up for the deer somewhere else? I really don't know the answer but it seems that most of the shows I watch show folks hunting deer and turkey in corn fields or chasing mulies and pronghorn in alfalfa fields.

Well how many times can you "not know", or "rely on the guides" after being busted for the exact same thing multiple times? Are they incapable of learning anything from past experiences?

They and many other clients were part of a multi year string against an outfitter. They would not turn states witness against outfitter and sued the Feds for a few of the harassment that state/feds engaged in trying to get them to to testify against outfitter.
I’m not defending wether the Bowmars know baiting etc was going down or not, just clarifying events

Here's some light reading about the case:
An anonymous tip that turned into a 5-year investigation is nearly over for Nebraska wildlife officials. In what’s being called the biggest poaching case in state history, investigators have linked over 100 people from 21 states to the illegal take of big game animals and transporting them across...
