A celebrity bowhunting couple who posted videos of their trophy killings on social media have been fined $133,000 for their involvement in Nebraska's largest ever poaching ring.
I guess since they pleaded guilty no prison time. All of that for fame and notoriety to build their brand/ subscribers.
What’s to stop them from profiting off their filmed community service hours they are required to do?
I tried watching one of there videos awhile back on youtbe but was not able to make it all the way through it. He was hard to take and lost my interest quickly..
I've got a hard time saying they should do prison time for what they did. The outfitter should have known better. Hunting over a bait pile just isn't that big of deal, as anyone who hunts a feeder should know. That is wildly different than traditional poaching.
Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the Lacey Act have some provision where if you are banned from hunting in one state, you are banned from hunting in all states?
Regardless, they should lose their means to make a living using wildlife as the medium. Let them try a 9-5 job for a minute. I bet they come begging for forgiveness within a month.
