N Conroe gave em up good yesterday! Fished 4-7 and cleaned fish and made it to the Neon Moon for a burger before closing time! Headed for a western omelette and round 2!!

Day 2 was a repeat of day 1! With the breeze it wasn't terrible out there but I wouldn't count of a breeze this time of year and without one it's miserable!

Fished Somerville for the 2nd time this past weekend and managed to boat a few. Still trying to figure out the lake.

Right now is the time for a man to be in a kayak on the Angelina below the Rayburn dam. The Corps drained Steinhagen which has the Angelina and Neches extremely low and the fish are stacked in just about any top that is still submerged.

Stunk it up yesterday but had the second biggest bag in the losers bracket to move onto championship Saturday! Man these fish are spooky after this crowd chasing them for a week!! I thought D’Arbonne fish were spooky!
