North Conroe is still too high to shoot docks! Trying to lower the water level a 50 piece at a time but it’s not helping!! Surface temp was nearly 74 yesterday!!

Nice job! I'ma gonna have to start fishing that lake again. Used to fish it all the time, being so close to the house.

The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Mike brought his wife up from the San Antonio area to check out Livescope before buying one. He is a long time THB member but I didn't ask his screen name. They sorted through a 100 fish to fill there cooler. Lots of undersized super aggressive fish. She didn’t mind and I really enjoyed the day as she was tickled with everything that pulled her cork under. We caught some on jigs but most came off minnows. 15 to 20 foot of water.

Christmas trees

I've always had success with dropping Christmas trees in spots and coming back to them.

Well the years started our great for me but not for fishing!! I was supposed to get after them today but my FIL took a turn for the worse and momma went up to be with him so I’ve been playing Mr Mom. They should be bunched up deep this time of year on most lakes! Plan on getting after em next week and tourney season cranks up the 21st in Texas for us and nationally Feb 3-4th! Got a few more ducks of geese to kill before then and then the slabs better hide!!

Haha! Heck yeah! I’ve got 6 gallons of fillets thawed out and cut up! Gonna be busy tonight. Caught most of them Sunday and Tuesday! Spent all morning cleaning out my shop!! Man that was about 8 years overdue!!

I think they wore the 10” mark off my cooler today we measured so many fish but they got it done!! I musta been on the wrong Conroe!! We caught fish everywhere and small fish everywhere but they left with 2 gallons of fillets.

what's up with all the small fish? big ones haven't made it out to deeper water yet? or all you LS guys done picked all the big ones off and we gotta wait until next year for some of the lil ones to grow? haha

What's bad is when you only catch big ones and no little one's. Catching alot of little ones means that lake is healthy and gonna be sustainable for many more years.

I just had one day that was crazy with small fish all over. Changed lakes today and it was much better for size. The boat slap was spooking then off early on but once we got out of that it was game one!!

interesting point about spooking. maybe the big ones were scared and didn't like my tm 3ft above their head while the 60+ little ones didn't care. i will try backing off my brush pile a little more next time.

Have a trip planned on Ray Robert's for 5/19 with the wife. Using Spindle guide service. �� Need to have a good time and a fish fry.

We had a few hours on Sunday to get on Fork and caught a single limit. Lots of little fish thrown back. The boy is in love with catching.
