Hit Rayburn last week and pretty sure I had crappie hitting a senko while bass fishing in the brush. Tried jigs in the area with no luck. Hit 10+ brushpiles and still nothing. Ended up sniping 18 from standing timber/stumps in 10-12 feet of water with the livescope. Still trying to figure the livescope out, only 3rd trip using it.

Had Don and RJ out on the way N end of Conroe yesterday! Weatherman lied again. I was looking forward to light and variable winds and was greeted with anything but that! The fish didn't spook too bad but were very stubborn and you had to hold a bait on them for a long time to get them to bite. With the waves bouncing the jig 2' above and below the fish and controlling the boat that made it hard! They still had 33 fish and 4 over 2 pounds and 13.86 on their best 7 on a short trip! I think I have April 5 and 16th left. The fishing should only get better from here. Crappie fishing never gets old!

Grenada was crowded and windy, caught these in a creek off of the Yalobusha river.Prayers sent for those unfortunate folks around rolling fork and yazoo county.Nice fish, around a 2 pound avg.,with big fish 17" and close to 3 lbs.Caught everything that swims in that lake but a bowfin. The gar, drum and catfish r a blast on light tackle and long poles.
