I tried to be like him once and lost the fish, dropped my pole in the water, and juggled my phone for 2 minutes before dropping it too, then my waders leaked and I stepped on a shell and my foot got stuck in the mud and I fell over.

Anyone hit the surf this morning?

I hit the West End of Galveston. I had several blowups early and caught one solid trout around 6:30. It went dead after that other than my buddy landing a huge (20+ lb) jack on a trout rod. We saw a lot of small black tips that would have probably made throwing croaker a hassle.

We are going to get back at it this PM through the weekend, so I will provide updates.

Well don’t feel lonely on the No trout. Fished yesterday and had buddy fishing with me. We caught 6 for him to take home then just pulled on lips. Have no idea how many trout we caught. Got up this morning early and went same place. Water was stained bad for some reason. Caught a couple dinks. Ran everywhere and we caught maybe a dozen fish and all but one was a short.

Need a few real tide movements and get some clean water in down here
