Had a good mornin in Surfside. Not fast & furious ,but ended up catching 15-20 fish. Kept 5 & let a solid 24 1/2 in fish go. She was thick.

Fishing N Levee Rd on Pleasure Island, you're fishing off jetty type rocks. the rocks closest to the water are generally slicker than duck $#@&, so you have to get fish close and swimming in the right direction and flip them up. If you didn't get a great hookset this sometimes leads to them getting off either when you flip them or when you're trying to position them to flip.

Fished this morning and it was too still. Didn’t start catching until the wind started moving about 10. Caught trout but they wanted baits just sitting almost. Felt like flounder fishing

So far no dislikes at all. Really a smooth reel. Cast really good

Awesome day today, hit the backside of port bay, 24in red , 32in bull / lost about a 40in bull, 2 flounder 14 and 17in released and lost another nice trout 24-25in , previous week had a trout that would beat my pb 29 3/4 went to land her treble hook from topwater got stuck on the net and she pulled watched her swim off!!
