Retirement age?

What age would yall retire if you were eligilbe and financially sound?

62 and I did! No regrets, I have been retired 18 months.

Don’t know. I’m 36 and plan to be able to by 55 but a lot can happen.

I retired all the way at 44. I’ll be 50 in Dec. all I do is hunt and fish!!!!!so boring. Lol

Our shop is closing the doors at the end of 2024. That is my planned retirement date. Gonna ride this pony into the ground.

One question I always have is why wait till retirement to live? Whats preventing you from working your job and traveling, going on trips, vacations, hunts every year with your alloted vacation time now?

Great point and question.

Some folks enjoy their job and working. I am self employed so I have always gotten to make my own schedule. Turn 70 next year and wife and I travelled all over this past year while I was still working.
