      OP
If you hand corn you can get away with less than 10 bags a year and then it won’t matter what it cost.

I don't deal in the numbers a ranch does but I do manage 6-8 feeders.

I buy at Bucees for my local hog place because I have one in Denton.

For my deer lease out west, I prefer to let the feed store in Angelo load corn and my protein for me. I do compare prices between Bucees and my Angelo feed store near my deer lease and if it is a big difference and I have room in my bed for 20-30 sacks, I'll take my corn with me. At $2-2.50/sack difference it adds up and will pay for some of my protein in one of my feeders or fuel. Being a finance and accounting type, I'll OCD on the numbers... However, if the price is not worth toting, I prefer letting the young fellas at the feedstore load it all for me.

Yeah and if you'd hunt public you wouldn't have to buy handcorn or vanilly either....and you could watch dragonflies..

I buy it at the feed store we get our cattle feed if I need some. Either Producers in College Station or Stanley's in Normangee

Loyal to Russell Feed store in Decatur. Always have the inventory I need at the time. But if you get there 5-10 min. before they close you might be loading yourself. I did 10 bags of corn before the young guy helped with the last 4. Normally they load but I always help anyway. I needed the exercise. Won’t discourage me one bit. I remember being young and and happy the work day was done.

Are you or the OP hunting Public land?
You hang out in your 30 panel pen and your heated house, spend thousands on corn and I’ll hunt

I hunt in public parks using a city bus to run them over.

We would usually buy it by the pallet in Waller. Not sure we saved much after you calculate fuel over there, but it was a nice drive, and we didn't have to stop at the feed store every trip to the lease.

I installed hog panels around my feeders. Funny how the deer and raccoons suddenly take up the slack.
