      Went through two Samsung in a three year period of time. This time we went with the Sony. So far, totally satisfied. I learned to buy the extended warranty the hard way.

        There are about 20-25 panel manufacturers. All the big players use a mix of sourced and in-house built panels. Regardless processing is = or > panel in regards to picture quality. Would you rather have a 200hp 4 cylinder gasser powering your truck or 1100 ft/lb diesel?

            Whatever you buy, get it at Costco. TV’s come with a 5 year warranty at Costco. Their flyer for the holidays is out and advertise good prices on all the major brands.

              My 2017 Samsung just went out so I too am in the market. I dont plan to go back with Samsung.

                I don’t believe they cover for “burn in” from what I’ve heard, if that is something you are worried about
