    I think mine is a Haier. the moisture is allegedly evaporated on the hot condenser coils. occasionally if air is really humid and the unit runs constantly, it will build up and auto shut off. the location of the drain is usually not ideal but they work. this one shows "auto evap"

      I've got three of them and two of them make a lot of water but the third must have that feature because it doesn't make any.

        Bought one a few weeks ago to have once I got out of hospital. It works flawlessly. No condensation buildup whatsoever. It’s a Toshiba.

        I’d seen them last year at Ollie’s in another state. Think they were less expensive then.

          I have one going right now, looks like the a/c pictured above.
          Works pretty well for us when it gets into the lower 90's up here, we have no a/c. Much better than not having it for sure. It is not quiet but not as loud as a/c with a compressor.
