No experience myself but my wife’s uncle bought it one to cool a small office at work and he said it sucked. I think he even through it out. Might just be the one he bought. No idea
Don't know about that one but we have 3 and they work pretty good. Must vent out thru a window. Comes with some panels to seal the vent in the window and we have some foam rubber blocks to help. We bought ours from costco.
I bought one (different brand) when our a/c went out a couple of weeks ago. I put it in our bedroom and the first night it got down to 61 degrees. Me and the wife were freezing!
I keep one upstairs (not exact unit) along the western end of the house to help out on hot days and it works great. Keep filters cleaned and locate close to a window for venting.
Have you looked into the saddle style window units? Opening is the same width as the portable ac, and then you don't have to fool with condensation or a big unit in your room
We have a bunch of the Hisun brand at work that heat/cool 400 sf. I'm really amazed at how long they have lasted, problem free. They do work and they never have to be emptied of water.
They work great and easy to setup. I use one in the front of the house when we have power outages and I have even used one to cool a small server room.
Way nicer to have a vent going out window, than having to lug a big window unit.

Man that might be just what I am looking for for a quick easy install on an emergency generator run unit. Looks like it runs on a 600-700 watt draw. Easy to install and easy to put up in storage plus either of my generators could handle it.. Thanks for the link
