Looks like ERCOT is saying we are in conservation level.

Ever since 3 mile island, then shortly after Chernobyl, few want to allow nuclear again. Most folks agree that we should go nuclear, up until it's going to be built in their back yard. Then all of a sudden, no it's too dangerous. The Federal government is no fan of nuclear. This is in part why Summer Nuclear Plant was shut down half way through construction, along with some serious cost overruns thanks to Toshiba/Westinghouse.

I grew up with Waterford 3 in Louisiana in the heart of cancer alley........nope, not the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I wonder what Ercot HQ thermostat is set at?

But what about all the windmills that have been built? I read that texas has a RECORD wind power generation this year. How could we possibly have power shortages with this MASSIVE volume of energy just spinning away [emoji3166]

I got the same message, then when I got home I turned both units to 69*.

Here are the over all numbers at 1700 hours. Total Demand 78255 MW // Wind and Solar producing 15425 MW so approximately 19.7% of the energy
