Great to hear that all is well so far. When I was a kid, I am pretty sure I got bit by a black widow. I was bringing some firewood in the house. We couldn't positively identify due the spider getting smashed .

I believe they sometimes bite and don't inject poison, and this is called a "dry bite".

Spider bite suck . Been dealing with one since October/November. Been on antibiotics 3 times even had the dead tissue cut out . Just won’t heal . I go back in the next week or two to get it cut out again .
