Bumping a 7 month old thread here

Was it ever determined if there was any value to catching and selling these suckers alive? Believe I read something if they are 6' or larger some decent money was involved and I mentioned it earlier in the thread but was curious for other experience.

        Just double checking.

        Thanks

Biggest I have seen was actually a timber rattler in the 80's from Liberty county. Over 7' and would imagine 16" around.

F that noise. I'll leave you hooligans to your playing with snakes, dead OR alive

That would be a record sized Timber Rattlesnake by at least a foot. Don't know what it'd be worth. Someone would buy it.

Nope. I thought this was a record rattler thread.

I harvested this guy last and he was just at 7’ long. I guess someone put him on the book of faces (I’m not on social media) and I eventually had a news company call me to interview me regarding my “world record rattlesnake” HAHAHA. Anyhow I’ll look back but I think 83” long and around 16” around….not a record but definitely a heck of a snake!
And YES he is being mounted full body in a south texas scene with a bobcat and a quail etc….HONOR YOUR HARVEST!!!

                          Good gosh man! [emoji15]

                              King Ranch monster rattler

Here is the largest rattler killed on the King Ranch per Tio Kleberg. This pic is in the main house. Me and my son had the honor of staying in for a few days quail hunting with Tio. For reference i'm 6'2" and the tip of my hand is 8'.
I killed 1 couple years ago on The Junco that had 17 buttons.
