Consumers haven't even begun to feel the full effects of why prices are going up on everything. Common workers have to pay more to get to work. Businesses pay more for production. Shipping costs more for the retailers who pass the cost on to consumers, who are the production workers trying to get to work.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!
Exactly! Not looking good for the near future.

Yup, but they're not very receptive to the request. So, I send my next request at a little over 3000 FPS.

Not sure there is a breaking point, but when we cannot live comfortably at home is when the hunting for pleasure takes a back seat.

            That's no lie.

Yea, I don't think people have a clue of how bad prices of everything are going to be. It's not just feed, it's that everything else is going up too.

Cut them off and they will protest. Gotta give them their fair share.

We're in Val Verde county averaging high 130's on trophies killed. We definitely don't want to see that drop... we have some 140" 6 YO's that made it and hoping we can get them into the 150's this year.

Would love to see some Spring showers to help us out a bit!
Definitely cant let that fall off for a temporary situation. I am jealous, we get a few in that range every few years but never consistent on low fence in the hill country.

Ya, but it seems we live in a society that the general population has no idea how to budget. It's this is what I want and this what I deserve mentality. And far to many people have this mentality without the money to support it.

This is where big feeders and cellular cameras do help out to reduce the number of trips. If it wasn't for protein I could not go for 6 months and be fine. 1000# corn feeders turned down to a couple seconds morning and night are good for months.

Keeping my tax exemption in tact will keep me feeding. Nothing says I have to feed theee times a day. Question is wether I’ll have the money to drive to the property to fill the feeder. I spoke with a owner of a “small drilling company “ today and was told “if I can’t make 200% profit I’m not drilling “.
Folks, we just thought things were bad last year. I’m afraid one day we’ll look at this time as “the good old days”.

Were going to give our deer a lesson on the benefits of eating pinestraw.

Food plots for me. Plant, cover, cross fingers they take. Like mentioned above, fertilizer is sky high. I just hope I get some good rain.
